What can a little decent weather do ?   This evening, it brought out 112 fantastic hobby vehicles to the Wal-Mart Supercentre lot for the Wasaga Beach Cruisers' weekly Monday night show.  Along with scores of interested folks, again, a lot of enthusiasts came some distance and many others made their first appearance at the cruise.  The Food Drive / BBQ was a big success and everyone was enjoying themselves ... it was tough just making your way through the crowds.  Special thanks to Roland, Ron, Russ, Chuck, Dave, Doug and as always, Nancy, Hope, Joan, Julie and Sandy, the Cruisettes.  Only negative was there didn't seem to be enough time to talk to everyone.  See ya next Monday at da Beach!

This evening's Wasaga Beach Cruisers' show drew 55 vehicles, on yet another great Monday !   With weather again being questionable, it turned out to be a warm and dry show, with still more 'first time' visitors to the Wal-Mart location.  Boston Pizza came through providing more goodies to the delight of all ... thanks to Boston Pizza, and all the Cruisers that helped out.

The Canadian Tire car show organized by Ron & Nancy R. of the Wasaga Beach Cruisers, was a huge success ... again, the weather co-operated and 42 hobby vehicles attended.  Big thanks to Nancy, Chuck, Ron, Russ, Paul, Eric, all who helped, and to the Wasaga Beach CT Store.  We're back again every Monday evening for our regular 'cruise' show at Wal-Mart.  Come cruise da Beach.

See you there.  The Wasaga Beach Cruisers are also having a small show and shine at the Canadian Tire parking lot between 9.00am & 1.00pm on Saturday June 21 2008 which is located 45th street Wasaga Beach.

Now the FUN RUN of 2008

The weather turned  good for us, and the turn out was very acceptable, even though there were a few other shows in our region, Gull Lake in Gravenhurst, Shelburne, just to name a couple, on the same day June 14 2008. We determined that the count was circa 210-225, with some of the cars not registered. The Cruisers would like to thank all of our sponsors for the generous gifts and donations that we received and in turn presented them to the registered participants. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Wasaga Beach Cruisers that stepped up and helped out . The list is many and to all of you THANKS. I apologize if I miss someone: Hope H, Russ M, Ron R, Rich B, Don P, Dave A, Roland C, Rob C, Chuck D, John & Katie E, Tom & Julie F, Joyce G ( sorry Joyce I forgot you on Friday night), Joan G, Wayne & Pauline G, Gary G,( sorry I forgot Gary Friday also), Paul G, Art & Leslie L, Tom & Teri O, Rick S, Dave S, Rick T, Bob & Edie W, again thank you to you all, because with out the volunteers the Wasaga Beach Cruisers " Fun Run" would not exsist.

I would like to personally thank Mr Larry Sawchuk and his lovely wife Lee for putting on one fantastic show. You have done it again Mr Magoo!!!

On Behave of the Wasaga Beach Cruisers-------Thanks Larry & Lee a job well done.

What another great Monday night show ... again, the weather was questionable for a while but the evening turned out perfect, as did the number of hobby vehicles in that we had 64 as the final count.  Many new attendees made it to the Wal-Mart location, and it was obvious everyone was having a good time / talking 'iron' ;  even after 8:00PM when the temperature started to dive.  Thanks to all the "WB Cruisers" for helpin' out again, and especially Chuck D. and Ron R. for doing the heavy stuff that is difficult for us old boys!
