Nov 7, 2007 - A sad passing
Bob Gasson. one of the founding fathers of the Wasaga Beach Cruisers passed away Wednesday November 7, 2007.
Bob, along with his wife Joan, coordinated our cruise nights and glady made his rounds each week to view all the vehicles when choosing Bob's Pick of the week
Bob's friendly nature and great stories of his career in hockey, his cars and adventures in life will sadly be missed  by all. Our sincere condolences go out to the family.

It wasn't necessary to know Bob too long before you began to appreciate the scope of his knowledge and experience; not just his car savvy, but in virtually every field of endevour. Yes, there was the outdoors, the hockey, the businessman, but only being the family man exceeded his role as a car guy ... and show me someone who didn't know Bob Gasson.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for honouring my father. Not only was he a great dad, but a very knowlegeable person with automobiles. I will wear his cruisers jacket with pride. Long live Bob's pick and the wasaga beach crusiers. Thank you again to all members for looking out for my family, we appreicate your support.

There will always be an extra spot left for Bob's car at any function the cruisers attend.

I was privledged to know Bob from the Trillium Cadillac Lasalle Club. One of which was founded by him. He was an incredible man, always laughing, and joking. We loved him, and his stories. He never missed a club function and he will be sadly missed by me and the rest of the Cadillac Club. Gail
